If you choose to register, you agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary to keep it accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for restricting access to your computer. Booking and Payment Terms

Booking Process

When you make a booking through our website or directly with our team, you enter into a contract with Muted Boundary. A booking is confirmed and a contract exists only when we issue a confirmation invoice and receive your payment (deposit or full amount, as applicable).

Payment

Payment terms vary depending on the type of tour and how far in advance you are booking:

  • For bookings made more than 60 days before departure, a deposit of 20% of the total tour price is required to confirm your booking, with the balance due 60 days before departure.
  • For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise specified.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change prices listed on our website at any time before you make a booking. After you have made a booking and received a confirmation invoice, the price of your tour is subject to change only in the following circumstances:

  • Increases in transportation costs (including fuel costs)
  • Changes in taxes, fees, or charges imposed by third parties
  • Significant changes in exchange rates

We will absorb, and you will not be charged for, any increase equivalent to 2% of the price of your travel arrangements. You will be charged for amounts over and above that. If the increase is more than 10% of the price of your travel arrangements, you have the option to cancel and receive a full refund.

Traveler Responsibilities

Travel Documentation

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid travel documents, including:

  • A passport valid for at least six months beyond your planned return date
  • Any required visas or entry permits for the countries you will visit
  • Any necessary vaccinations or health certificates
  • Travel insurance documentation

We are not responsible for any issues arising from your failure to obtain appropriate travel documentation.

Health and Fitness

You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in the tour you have chosen. Some of our tours involve strenuous activities, travel to remote locations, or visits to high-altitude destinations. You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or disabilities at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to refuse a booking or to remove a person from a tour if their health or fitness level is determined to be detrimental to the operation of the tour or the safety and wellbeing of other participants.

Behavior and Conduct

You agree to behave responsibly and respectfully toward other travelers, tour leaders, local people, and the environment. If, in our opinion or that of our suppliers, your behavior is causing or likely to cause danger, distress, or annoyance to others, we reserve the right to terminate your participation in the tour. In such cases, you will be responsible for making your own travel arrangements to return home, and we will not be liable for any expenses incurred or refunds.

  • Accidents, illness, or injury
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations if such failure is due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, epidemics, pandemics, or government actions.
